If you notice that your batteries have stopped charging or have stopped discharging, don’t stress, it could be a simple fix. Most likely what has happened, is that the battery isolator has been tripped. The Sofar Inverter by default has maximum charge set to 65A. We usually limit this to 62A when we are setting up your system to not trip the isolator, but a firmware update occurs, it can reset this back to the default. Follow the instructions below to get your system going again.
- Check if your battery isolator switches are in the on position (up position). They are located next to your battery and are labelled. If they are in the off position (down position), switch them to the on position. Charging should resume straight away. Wait a few minutes, and then check in your app.

In the main interface, press the “BACK” button to enter the main menu. The main menu has the following five options.
Select “2. Advanced Setting” and press the ENTER arrow. “Input password” will be shown. Input the password 0715, pressing the UP and DOWN arrows to change each digit, and then the ENTER arrow to switch to next digit.
Select “1. Battery Parameter”.
Select “4. Max. Charge (A)” and press the ENTER arrow. Press the UP and DOWN arrows to change the digits, and set Max Charge (A) to 62.
3. If your batteries have stopped charging and discharging for quite some time, they may now be flat. If they have fully discharged over a long period of time, they may now be in idle mode, and charging won’t start automatically. You will need to force start your battery charging. Follow the instructions below to initiate battery charging:
In the main interface, press the “BACK” button to enter the main menu. The main menu has the following five options.
Select “1. Basic Setting”, and then select “3. Energy Storage Mode”
Select “3. Set Timing Mode”.
Press the ENTER arrow to enter “Set Timing Mode” interface. Set “Charge Start” and “Charge End”. Don’t forget to return back to “1. Set Auto Mode” after the batteries have charged.
