Your HYD-ES inverter and battery system is designed to continue operating in the event of a grid blackout. However, you need to have EPS (emergency power supply) mode enabled in order for your system to continue working when the power goes out.
Your inverter should have EPS mode enabled when we complete the installation. However, if you’ve recently had a power cut and your inverter did not automatically switch to EPS, check if it has been enabled by following the instructions below:
In the main interface (shown above), press the “BACK” arrow to enter the main menu. The main menu has the following options:
Select “1. Basic Settings”
Select “5. EPS Mode”, press the ENTER arrow to enter energy storage mode setting interface.
Select “1. EPS Mode Control”, press the ENTER arrow and press the up arrow to select “1. Enable EPS Mode”, then press Enter.
You should see SUCCESS displayed on the screen once EPS mode is enabled.
